Golden Circle Route的点评
点评：The Golden Circle is a famous circular route to the east of Reykjavik that includes some of the most famous sightseeing in Iceland. The route is roughly 300 km long and can be done between 1-3 days depending on how much time you have available and how extensively you want to explore the natural and heritage attractions along the route.
For those doing a day trip only, be ready for an early start and late return to Reykjavik. You'll be able to take in the big three attractions of Thingvellir National Park, Geysir Geothermal Area and Gullfoss perhaps with another quick stop or two along the way.
We spent a second day making our way around the Golden Circle allowing longer visits to each of the three locations mentioned above along with stops to see additional waterfalls of Bruarfoss and Faxifoss, the Kerid Crater and historic Skaholt Cathedral. Next time we'd add a third day to take in additional places that we weren't able to fit onto the schedule this time around.
