巴特米尔的点评
点评：We visited the Lake District in October so at the height of Autumn.
Having also visited Windermere the previous day, I can honestly say that Buttermere is more beautiful, with its pathway all the way around, waterfalls feeding the lake, tree lined paths, walkable mountainous terrain AND best of all… lack of tourists! It has that calming effect to the mind, we had sun, wind and rain while we trekked and it was all so peaceful, we even had a scoop of water from a waterfall, was so crisp and cool.
Just amazing, the best part of our holiday.
My one regret is that we didn’t arrive earlier as we ran out of daylight and I didn’t get the chance to see “scale force waterfall” reportedly the tallest in the lakes.
We did however get to see “Sour milk Gill”
I cannot wait to return and won’t even bother with Windermere!
