Walton Pier的点评
点评：Terrible experience at the pier on our last visit. Firstly do NOT use the contactless machine to get change for the arcades. My son used his bank card as he had saved his pocket money to use at the arcade. The machine took the money off his card and did not give him his coins. I spoke to three members of staff including the manager and was given no resolution and NO refund for my son. All I was told that it would go back on his card in 3-5 working days- which by the way it hasn’t. The manager also informed me that it had happened to several other customers, so I’m not sure why it is still available for use? Sounds like a scam to me. My son was very disappointed as I didn’t have additional funds to give him for the arcades and I didn’t want to give them any more of our money!
On top of that the food was awful- we went to buy fish and chips but was told they were accepting cash only. We ended up buying food at the diner opposite which made my mum sick.
The toilets were also out of use and we had to walk up the hill to the public toilets. It’s such a shame as we love the beach at Walton but the pier is really letting the side down.
