Very professional and excellent diving

点评：As experienced divers we were keen to book an island based Maldives holiday and my research led me to Kuredu Resort.
The in-house dive operation was rated highly and boasted many accessible diving sites. Honestly the reports were all pretty accurate and it is a very professional outfit.
Now I mentioned that we’re experienced and had in excess of two hundred dives, with the last recorded within six months. As such we were a little surprised at being required to effectively complete a check dive and demonstrate skills like mask clearing and sharing air.
At first I was annoyed as it is never required by any other dive operators but on reflection it was a useful skill refresher. So be prepared to do this orientation dive irrespective of your experience.
The dive centre is well equipped with rental gear but we always travel with our own.
Diving can be booked via their web app or the screens at the centre. We opted for two tank morning boat dives. Everything was well organised and the boats departed at about 8.30am, the briefings and guides were very helpful to help understand the different dives and the conditions likely.
The crew on the boats were super helpful at getting kitted up and again when returning to the boat after a dive. Surface intervals were always well over an hour but typically we were back at the dock before 1pm.
The sea life observed included multiple sharks, rays, turtles and many other species of shoaling fish.
So excellent diving and we still had the afternoons to ourselves.
You can probably imagine that this quality of diving, the excellent crews and guides don’t come cheap but you really do get what you pay for, it’s definitely worth it.
