Fun for a couple of hours

点评：My friends and I attended an open skate session during half term. We didn't book online. Luckily, they had space for all of us when we arrived. The price per ticket is very good £13.50 (adults) for 3 hours of skating and a pair of skates for hire or £10 if you have a Blue Light Card.
There are some seats and tables around the edge of the rink. However, an issue I had come across were people skating had left their coats and belongings on chairs (around the bar area) but would be skating for ages. So tables were taken, but they weren't actually being used. Staff members shouldn't allow this to happen - there are lockers where customers can store belongings. Also, staff members did not seem to be cleaning tables and the drinks/rubbish that were on the tables around the bar area.
There are a good number of lockers located by the entrance into the main room. Lockers cost 20p per use, and they were key entry.
Food was poor, tasteless and of a cheap quality. We ordered chicken goujons and a hot dog. Both we did not like. Drinks came in bottles or if you were skating, they would give these to you in a resealable cup. Drinks are not allowed on the skating rink.
The rink was in good condition and of a good size too. There were two stewards on the rink and they kept an eye on customers. Anybody that fell over, a steward would go over and help or see if the person was OK. There was a dj who played a variety of songs and he also took song requests. To make the skating session a bit more fun, they would play games on the rink for anybody who wanted to join in.
Overall, we had a good time and think it is good value for money.
