This tour will make my daily walks around Biggar more interesting.

点评：Thank you Stewart for a very enjoyable tour of Biggar. It was made even better by the beautiful sunshine. We only moved to Biggar a couple of years ago, it’s a very pleasant and friendly place to live. In the past we had driven through many times, but we don’t actually know much about the place and its history.
After two hours, we have learned a lot of very interesting history and geology and can now imagine how the town used to be a thousand years ago, visualise the two castles that no longer exist, the people who contributed a lot to the town, the mills and weavers village, the Covenanters house……
We’ll definitely be joining your other tours in this area.
(You were right to say we needed to prepare for the weather because it could become very cold after two hours on a bad day.)
You’re knowledgeable but also see the funny side of things which made it more fun.
