点评：As one walks along Railroad Avenue, the Johnny’s Candy Corner store stands out from all the rest. The building, with its detailed Victorian trim slightly resembles a gingerbread house. And, with other trim in the Stick Style of architecture, it resembles a confection in and of itself.
This is a great stop for candy-lovers of all ages. And, at the time of my visit after 4:30 in the afternoon, the candy-lovers were there in great numbers, buying fudge, salt water taffy, turtles, penny candy, truffles, and even bananas dipped in chocolate.
I got two pieces of fudge ~ one dark chocolate and one peanut butter. The dark chocolate piece had a rich, smooth taste of the dark chocolate it was. A piece of this flavor is highly recommended to those who love dark chocolate. There was absolutely no doubt about what flavor the peanut butter piece was. As soon as it touched my taste buds, there was a burst of peanut flavor. I highly recommend a pace of this to anyone who likes peanut butter-flavored anything.
The shop also sells country crafts.
I was surprised to see Stonewall Kitchen products in stock there.
This is a topnotch candy emporium. I rate it at 5.0 and highly recommend stopping in.
