Poor course conditions

点评：5star resort but 1 star course.
We have played this course a couple of times on our golf trips to Cyprus but were so disappointed this autumn with the conditions and service. The setting is great up in the hills above Paphos .
The resort has really developed but they seem to put the money and effort into building the hotel rather than course maintenance. The views still amazing so worth a look but fairways are burnt off , slow and poor greens .
The staff where not as welcoming and our golf day was ruined by a man who we believe was Frank , a green keeper who kept chasing us and rudely asking us not to drive on the fairways even though we tried to follow the silly 90 deg rule.
Around £ 40 for a buggy and not being able to drive the whole of a substandard course seems the focus is on taking one time bookings at maximum price.
Unfortunately we will not be returning unless there is a big improvement.
