点评：A contemporary art gallery built to blend in with the tall, black fishermen's huts that Hastings is famous for. Inside the gallery space is unquestionable modern, with versatile display spaces and wonderful windows looking out over the beach launched fishing boats. Visited before.
This time we went there to see the exhibition entitled Immortal Apples, Eternal Eggs , which shows contemporary and traditional takes on the theme of still life. Very interesting and enjoyable with works by some of y favourite artists including Claire Lucas and Louise Bourgeois. This exhibition is on until mid-March 2025.
We also ate a very tasty, light lunch in the small but airy first floor cafe, which has vast windows looking across fishing huts and the lifeboat station towards the Harbour Arm and beach. A great vantage point for photographers, and gulls.
The whole place including seems to be accessible for wheelchairs, there are two lifts and toilets.
