点评:This is honestly the worst bus service I have ever had the misfortune of relying on, and I’m not just saying this as I am used to London bus frequency.
The buses are infrequent, slow and filthy both externally and within. They’re old, filthy, and more prone to breakdowns than a toddler having its iPad privileges removed. These buses have clearly seen better days and are woefully inadequate for the routes they run: small, compact and stinking of body odour or damp most days. They’ve left my family stood waiting at bus stops, damp and disheveled during a thunderstorm, late for work or even stranded on the side of a main road. There are a scattering of friendly drivers I’ve had encounters with, but most are standoffish, disinterested or downright rude. Make of this what you will, but I find it particularly interesting that some of them will happily and chirpily bid goodbye to the female passengers on the bus when they get off, but completely blank me when I get off at the same stop, audibly say ‘thank you’ and flash them a smile.
This is a shoddy excuse of a ‘service’, and I’ve been told they now charge £3 for the ‘privilege’ of getting to ride a battered, disintegrating bus. Thank God I don’t have to ride with them often, or I’d honestly consider writing to the council. The service is persistently disgraceful, and needs to change.
