Great Soft play area - terrible food there
Cadbury Garden Centre的点评
点评：We went to Cadbury Garden Centre principally because it has a good soft play centre - called the Tree House, and for our 3-year old granddaughter. It was great - the best I have seen. It costs £9 for the child and £2 per adult. Within the soft play area there is a cafe serving light meals, drinks etc. We spent £36 on some food. It was pretty awful. I had what they called a 'Cheese Plowman's' but it wasn't. It was a cheese and pickle sandwich using just one sheet of processed cheese. The toddler had baked beans (ok), chips that had seen better days and a sausage that looked and tasted (I tried it) of not very good quality and hard outside as though it had been warmed for ages. She spent ages trying to consume one mouthful. Similarly, my wife had a jacket potato where the skin seemed very old and too tough to eat, and a prawn filling with rubbery prawns. To top it all, a lot of the cutlery was dirty and we had to replace most of it and search through what was available to find some clean implements- the waitress apologised ns said she would wash them. The staff were fine - they are not the problem. Despite all that we had a good time because the play area is so good. And , of course, the Garden Centre itself is spectacular and worth a visit on its own - especially at this time of year. There is a bigger cafe not far away within the centre but no idea what that is like. Avoid the cafe in the play area - except perhaps for drinks.
