点评:This is my first experience here, possibly my only experience due to the service unfortunately.
I pre booked at The Loggia, complimentary valet parking and initially greeted by the very professional valet gentlemen. I was informed Emma would be the host in the main entrance, again Emma was very polite and professional.
This is when the experience changed. It was 12pm, 4 or 5 tables seated and I was alone. I waited and I waited by the reception area of The Loggia and seen by staff whilst they were with another guest several metres away from where I was standing, yet no acknowledgment was made, not even a smile, more a look straight through me. Finally the 2 female staff acknowledged me and came and asked if I had made a reservation. I was seated at a smaller table behind the reception / checkin area.
Initially drinks were ordered, food was ordered and served in a timely manner. However, the staff congregated in the area to the left of where I was seated and within 1 metre. I didn’t appreciate their continuous conversations regarding other staff members including repeatedly uncomplimentary comments towards ‘Michael’ who seemed to be portrayed as a Villain at RH England. The fact that Michael was ‘no doubt in the office’ seemed to be in their favour by all accounts.
At no point was I asked how the food was whilst eating. It was only when I asked for the bill did I get asked.
A shame as I would highly recommend the surroundings. However, I wouldn’t recommend eating in The Loggia unless you wish to hear the moans of staff. Also not particularly great introduction to a new female waitress who was being shown the role having to hear the negativity in a new role.
Food, surroundings perfect. However, The Loggia staff spoilt the experience.
