Boreal Wildlife Centre的点评
点评：I visited in April 2024 as part of a photography group. We were made to feel very welcome, nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation is basic, but adequate especially as nights were spent in hides. Food was OK and we were provided with drinks and sandwiches for the hides.
The hides we used were comfortable with gas heaters (it was very cold and snowy). They had bunk beds and sleeping bags were provided.
Only one site was used as it was early in the season. We saw brown bears every night and some mornings (4 nights in hides). Wolverine also appeared a few times as did white tailed eagles. Lots of ravens, hooded crows and magpies.
There is also a bird hide where I photographed red squirrel, bullfinch, willow tit, siskin, yellowhammer and more.
We also did the black grouse lek one morning which was great and saw snow bunting there too.
All in all a great few days and highly recommended.
