Secluded shrine next to wonderful nature.

点评：Mystical place. You can either get there by bus (still need a 15 minutes walk if you take the bus) or driving a car (parking only 5 minutes walk away from shrine).
Before arriving you're next to an insanely beautiful lake, then you get into the forest. The shrine is in the woods a little deeper, there's a small but powerfull waterfall and the shadow made by the trees makes you feel a majestic experience. You can make a prayer there, and go explore deeper in the forest (trekking) see the other praying spots. Better go there early morning until 3 pm (winter) to 4 pm (summer). It's a forest in the mountain, it gets dark very fast.
Only toilets are near the parking.
I would definitely recommend to couples or family in search of spirituality.
* You may find a lot of other "Ama no Iwato" in Japan because it is not a single place. It is evoked in mythology but doesn't have a proper designated place/area.
