This was one of the most unprofessional experiences I’ve ever had. The driver arrived one full hour late for the pickup, with no apology or explanation. Although he presented himself as a guide, it became obvious very quickly that he was only a driver. He provided absolutely no historical or cultural information during the entire day — he didn’t even know who Alexander the Great was, which is shocking for someone claiming to offer guided tours.
To make things worse, he brought a friend along without informing me, turning a private tour into something completely different. At lunch, they both expected me to pay for their meals, which was completely inappropriate and disrespectful.
Overall, this was a waste of time and money, far below any acceptable standard for a tour service. I strongly advise others to avoid this experience and choose a real, knowledgeable, and professional guide instead.
