A fairly expensive site for the facilities

点评：Basic site, especially for the rather high price.
Sign at the site entrance allocates a pitch, but a van already set up (long term chap working in the area) means there's confusion. Contacted the owners but no response so set up anyway. Owner (?) came later and said ok to stay, and preferred us to use own shower rather than site one.
Toilet block is used throughout the day by the many visitors to the shop, cafe and garden centre. It is locked and coded from about 5.0pm to 8.00am. It is probably 100 metres from the camping pitches, down a mud track. Don't forget the torch! Not the best experience for the money.
Shop etc apparently not part of the campsite, so no direct contact with owner.
Walk to the pub/bus stop etc ok but very wet and muddy through the trees to avoid the busy road.
Road noise is slightly obtrusive even at night time.
An okay site (no refunds for any reason tells a story!) and tried it and will go elsewhere in the future.
