Disappointing! Lots of interesting artifacts, but little context in presention

点评：I was somewhat disappointed with the museum. Metz has such a rich history that spans centuries. I would thought there would have been a more logical sequence to guide visitors through the museum. Yes, the buildings are large and spacious. The staff is there, but appear to be acting more in a secutiry role than as guides. There was no obvious evidence of self-guiding tour books or materials to take the vistior through the centuries and millieums. What is left is a collection of very interesting and obviously improtant peices of stone sculpture, columns, arch ways etc., but nothing is presented in any particular context. And for English-speakers, any signage at each piece of carved stone is at the bottom printed in italics on a board, equiring bending low to read. Not very inviting.
