点评：The marina is lovely, however the marina manager is another story. Recently, a child whose mother is facing terminal cancer created a small “secret garden” at the marina. It was out of the way, not seen unless you deliberately walked that way. It was behind the rubbish dump of wood. This simple, heartfelt gesture provided them with comfort and a sense of peace during a very painful time. Rather than meeting this with empathy or understanding, the marina manager chose to dismantle the garden. The effect on the child and their family eas profoundly upsetting.
What makes this especially troubling is that it is not the first instance of the manager acting in such a manner. There is a repeated pattern of behaviour that comes across as spiteful, unnecessarily harsh, and more about exercising power than showing leadership. A manager in such a position should be able to balance rules with compassion, yet time and again this has not been the case. This is definitely not a manager who has won awards. The responses on this site and in google reviews are from the manager herself - not the owner.
