点评:Most likely the finest collection of vintage funeral transportation in the country. That being said this tour goes well beyond just the bling. Owner and tour guide Bill Peoples presents a very laid back, comfortable, informative and thought provoking journey through the history of what is for many of us is the uncomfortable subject matter of death. Focus is given on the ceremony of remembrance throughout the years and how that’s changed over time. Not a highly advertised activity but one you should seek out if your anywhere near the Marietta Ohio vicinity. A unique experience you will definitely remember. Don’t be swayed by no set tour times. Just send an email inquiry of when you would like to tour and Bill will get back in touch with you as he did with me. No charge to tour however donations are accepted.
A very interesting side note is that Bill Peoples shared with our group that he is 2nd cousins with nearby Morgantown WV native Don Knotts. That was definitely icing on the cake for me.
