点评：My wife and I visited here after a lovely - but thirst inducing! - walk to the nearby Hareshaw Linn waterfall. The brewery tap is ideally situated between the town centre and the waterfall. It was a warm and sunny afternoon so we able to sit outside in the large garden. There is also a covered outside area. As could be expected, they were offering a wide selection of real ales (3, one of which was a collaboration with the nearby Allendale Brewery) and craft beers (9) plus a real cider. For any beer enthusiasts there was plenty of choice of styles (I counted stouts, pales, IPAs, Irish red ale, Fruited Gose, Belgian Amber Ale, a wheat beer and even a Pilsener on draught, plus a decent selection of some of their other beers in cans and bottles.) The beers started from a reasonable (these days!) £4 per pint, with everything available to sample in 1/3 or 1/2 pints. Between us we managed to sample most of them, with a particular favourite being the Belgian Amber Ale made with locally grown plums (with added ginger). The barstaff were extremely friendly as well as very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the beers. I would have loved to stay longer but we had to get the last bus back to our accommodation in Falstone. We would certainly visit again.
