点评：With the fall of Assad and the festivities of Ramadan, I found this tour company about 2 weeks before they were set to start their tour around Syria. Communication was fast, easy and flexible and before you knew it I was set to depart to Damascus. Our guides were Rami and Mary, who were phenomenal! From the start we had many fun iftars and many great food opportunities throughout the day everyone from any background could enjoy. For the Ramadan tour prepare for dance and music with the locals!
I had very limited knowledge about Syrias history, and recent dark past and recent hope for a new beginning. This tour was so forgiving in the explanations from locals about the current situation, for example we visited the politcal prison Sadnaya to really put faces to something most see through a screen. But we also immeresed in the rich diversity of different peoples which Syria houses and homes. Whether we were in the 3rd millennium bc old walls of Aleppo, the waterwheels of Hama, or inside a impromptu special local druze home in Sweida eating their local Mansef, the tour was carefully planned with room for extra once in a lifetime opportunities by Rami and Mary.
I really recommend this tour for anyone to get to know Syria as the way it is, rich and alive with the kindest people you'll ever meet. I guarantee you will feel safe and at home here. Thank you Syria Tours, and to Rami and Mary
