点评：Visiting Syria was one of the most profound experiences of my life. This country, with its incredible depth of history and culture, left a lasting impression on me. From the ancient streets of Damascus, one of the world’s oldest continuously inhabited cities, to the breathtaking ruins of Palmyra, every corner of Syria tells a story thousands of years old.
I was deeply moved walking through Aleppo’s Old City, where the scent of spices still fills the air and the sound of craftsmen echoes through the narrow lanes. Though parts of the city bear the scars of war, the resilience and warmth of the people shine through. The reconstruction efforts and the spirit of hope are inspiring — reminders that culture and community can endure even the hardest times.
The visit to Krak des Chevaliers and Bosra was equally unforgettable. These UNESCO World Heritage sites, though damaged, still stand as magnificent testaments to Syria’s architectural and historical legacy. Seeing them firsthand made me appreciate the country’s immense cultural importance and the urgent need to preserve it for future generations.
I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to SYRIAN GUIDES for organizing this journey.
