点评:This is one of the lounges run by the Milan airport operator. I mention this because it’s probably intentionally bad.
The food selection consisted of (1) meatballs, (2) micro cubes of sandwiches, (3) small square cuts of pizza (4) cold lasagna wrapped in plastic, presumably to make it easier to microwave in the microwave at the other end of the table, and you get the idea. The plates were as big as the utensils. There was a sign “reminding” folks to not take food or drinks with them when they leave, something I’ve only seen at Chicago’s Swissport lounge - the worst in Priority Pass, which doesn’t even have cooked food and only lets PP folks in when they can’t sniff first class passengers out. This lounge is ungodly levels of stingy is my point.
It’s telling that the only thing I saw people enjoying was the champagne. Which, if I was paying $35/35 euros to walk in here and eat cold gross canapés, I would too.
When I went to Turin’s airport lounge, their food selection was similarly paltry. They even advertised that their baked goods were from a specific vendor that also happened to have a storefront in the terminal. This lounge didn’t even do that even though the deserts were the (only) good part.
This lounge clearly wants you to not eat there (and pay at the restaurants in the terminal instead, giving them money!) but has to have some kind of food in order to not get kicked out of Priority Pass. Get to this airport later and don’t give them any revenue. They don’t deserve it.
