点评：We initially booked another driver who fell ill and recommended us Ito (= Christofer) as his replacement with the words "To be honest, he is a better driver than me". We can't say something about the other driver, but yes - Ito did an amazing job! Wherever we went, he had good recommendations, it was never a problem to improvise and make new plans and he really hd something to say about everything.
We did a tour of almost a week with him to see almost everything of Flores and this may have been the highlight of our 4-week-holiday in Indonesia. We travelled with our son (2 years then) and he and Ito loved each other from the very beginning. Ito even carried him up the Kelimutu when we were too exhausted - that goes far beyond normal service! He even taught us an Indonesian song for children (which we still sing here in Germany from time to time...)! 🤩
Would we do a trip with Ito again? Definitely! Will we do a trip with him again? We hope so! We had a really, really good and relaxed time with him all the time plus he is a really good and reasonable driver. Those are few and far between in Indonesia, he is one of them.
