Rio Celeste By Chris Tours的点评
点评：Chris was an incredible guide! We did both the hike and tubing with Chris and had a fantastic time. I messaged Chris via WhatsApp a couple weeks before our trip to Costa Rica and he was timely and attentive in his responses - answering all of my questions ahead of time so we knew exactly what to expect.
The hike was relatively short and not too difficult, but Chris made a huge difference. We hike a fair amount in the States and debated getting a guide for this hike, but we are so glad that we did. Chris pointed out 4 different snakes to us on the hike and spotted an ant eater climbing a tree just off the trail. While 3/4 snakes apparently were in the same places a day before and easy for Chris to point out, he told many other guides that we encountered along the way that apparently were not aware of where these snakes were located in order to help their tours. Chris did spot a vine snake just off trail that we certainly would have missed and was just passing through. Chris was really knowledgeable about the area, the wildlife, and the national park. After the hike, Chris got us hooked up with fresh pineapple, coconut water, and guava from the stand just outside the entrance.
During the tubing portion of the day, we joined up with a larger group of folks through Rio Celeste Aventuras. There were probably 30 people on the tubing adventure with about 5-6 other guides. We had a blast! Chris really made it special for us by giving us the VIP treatment - specifically helping us navigate the hairier parts of the rapids, wearing a gopro to capture pictures and videos of us tubing together, and pointing out to us monkeys and a sloth that the rest of the group missed. Again at the end of this part of the adventure Chris hooked us up with fruit and helped get us food at the restaurant.
Chris provides the total package for a great time hiking and tubing Rio Celeste!
