We had a truly memorable day in the safe hands of Captain Ferdo aboard The Tilagus sailing from Sali on Dugi Otok.
The boat trip is already stunning - taking in the crystal clear waters of the Nature park - for a full day on the seas. But it really is Ferdo who brings the whole experience to life with his astounding knowledge & fascinating stories that he shares along the way. We learnt more about Croatian culture & history in one day, from first hand stories about tracing his own local family history back to great grandparents, than we did the entire rest of our trip.
Ferdo also taught the kids how to steer the boat, tie multiple different knots and dive in the water from many different heights for all abilities.
Lunch is a delicious selection of salads featuring local octopus, sardines and tuna with a nice white wine and plenty of bread & water. Watermelon is served all the time.
We sailed through the national park to the open Adriatic and took in the magnificent cliffs of Dugi Otok from a viewpoint you just can’t see from land.
Everyone from 15 to 55 to take enjoyed the excursion and it is highly recommended to book Tilagus Tours. I’d be extremely surprised if you didn’t enjoy and all the 5 star reviews speak for themselves.
