点评：Animal cruelty on Pulau Kelayang on Belitung Indonesia. Pulau Kelayang is a beautiful island where everyone on a day trip always has lunch at the only restaurant on the beach of the island. However, the owners mistreat protected species such as sea turtles. They catch baby sea turtles and put them in small containers. They then tell tourists that they saved the baby turtles, and that you can pay them money to release one. Otherwise they will not release the turtles. Many tourists are touching the baby sea turtles, and the babies are very stressed. Turtles looked weakened, and they had already pulled out a dead turtle. If you speak to the owners of the restaurant, they say they are saving the turtles and that you must pay to release the weakened babies.
The owners of the restaurant also have a protected pet monkey that lives alone on the beach without any other species on the island. The monkey looked stressed too and also react agressive to tourists. And tourists are lured to Pulau Kelayang with nice stories that there are monkeys that you can see there.
