Olana State Historic Site的点评
点评：Whether you are an art fan, an architecture fan, or a nature fan…..there is something here for you. Thank you to New York State and the Olana Partnership for saving and preserving this gem.
The visitor center is not only where you check in, but has a 15-20 minute video that does a nice job summarizing the basics. From the looks of things, they are even opening a cafe sometime in the future.
We opted for the self-guided house tour, and highly recommend that option. With extremely friendly and knowledgeable docents through the house, you can wander and get questions answered at your own pace.
Unfortunately, time did not permit walking much of the grounds. But that only gives us a reason to return.
There are restrooms at the visitor center and the gift shop next to the house.
