Fun visit from Queenstown
箭镇的点评
点评：This is an old gold-mining town along the Arrow River around 20 km from Queenstown. Historically, gold was found in the nearby river in 1862 and hence the town sprung to live. Today, you find a quaint community in a lovely rural setting. You'll find historic buildings from the late 19th-century, particularly along Buckingham Street.
There is a nice Tourist Information Centre and museum, boutique art galleries, retail shops, eateries, coffee shops bars and hotels. Because of proximity to Queenstown, Arrowtown receives quite a few day trip visitors. There is a lot of free parking near Buckingham, a short walk to most points of interest. On the whole, this is a neat historic settlement that is well worth visiting if you spending sometime around Queenstown. We spend around 2 hours which didn't seem like enough. Will allow for a longer stay to see more of the sights around town next time around.
