Fun park, but not for people in wheelchairs.
Bellewaerde Park的点评
点评：Bellewaerde looks amazing, is very nice. And has a nice array of attractions for the youngest to the oldest.
We have been there at a family day of my company on a Saturday. And altough it was a Saturday the park wasn't crowded and waiting times where between 5 - 20 min. Except for Bengal River witch was 50 min.
But here I end the positive part. My wife is in a wheelchair cause she cannot walk long distances. We got the access pass from the Mexico InfoPoint. The lady there wasn't very friendly.
And Bellewaerde is the only theme park we visited worldwide where my wife wasn't allowed to do any off the thrill rides.
Only 17 of the 51 attractions she was allowed to do. Every other attraction she was not allowed. Same for boomerang. Witch is a coaster she has been on multiple times in other parks around the world.
To compare we go to efteling the week after. Here she isn't allowed in 4 attractions of there 33 rides.
So for accessibility to people in wheelchairs Bellewaerde is one of the worst parks you can go to.
Since it was a corporate event. We didn't pay anything for tickets. If we would have to pay we would ask a refund after entry. The 10 EUR standard discount does not comp for the lack of things to do for disabled people.
So if you are an abled person person. Yes, Bellewaerde is definitely a fun place to visit and will ensure you of a nice day.
If you are disabled and in a wheelchair. Save your money and spend it elsewhere. Bellewaerde is in our experience the least accessible park we visited worldwide. Even in the states, (the land of liability) disabled people are allowed to do a lot more then in this park.
