Be aware of UV when in with dolphins!

点评：We had a great time on our excursion, getting from our cruise and back was seamless with taxis provided both ways.
Highlights:
Lots of time with the dolphin in as natural an environment as possible
Activities seemed considerate of the animals
Feeding manatees was a great experience
Lovely people, most not pushy or sales focused
Great area for snorkling and a swim after the animal experience
Excellent tequila tasting and no pressure to buy
Plenty of shade if needed
Pool area if you don't want to swim in the sea
Things to be aware of:
We followed the no suncream rule, we had ocean safe spray but they still asked that we didn't use it when in with the dolphins. Prepare for this if you have kids or burn easily, we took long sleeved swimwear and hats for the kids so they were fine. My husband burnt really badly as the UV is incredibly strong. Recommend sleeves and hats if visiting in peak UV.
I happily purchased a bottle of tequila, in the same shop there was someone wanting to sell cigars and bags, they were slightly more pushy so worth being aware of.
The photos are really expensive so budget for that, the pictures are great and you are likely to want them!
Included food is ok, I enjoyed the pulled pork, rice and lots of salad.
You do need to walk a short way to get to the taxis from the pier, we were fine with this but worth knowing if you have mobility issues.
I was worried it might all seem cruel but in the main I came away thinking the dolphins were well cared for, unsure of where the manatees and sea lions are kept as did not see that.
Our guide was Omar and he was helpful through the trip, ensuring we got there and back easily and talking us through everything.
