Absolutely beautiful gardens

点评：Really enjoyed our visit to the gardens, they are absolutely gorgeous and around every corner was another riot of colour.
There's such an interesting variety of plants and trees some of which I have never seen before. We loved the house and the way nature has taken over the ruins, the rooms inside are lovely and you can really get a feel for the history of the place.
We spent a very pleasant few hours ( left the dogs with a friend so we could make full benefit of our visit). Wandering around the house and gardens.
We had a coffee and then bought some beautiful plants that I haven't seen in a garden centre.
Note....dogs are not allowed in the house or main garden and even as a dog lover I think it's a good thing, no having to dodge flexi leads or dog poo!!!
