黄刀镇老城区的点评
点评：We walked the entirety of Old Town and beyond, encompassing the reserve on the end of the peninsula. We enjoyed the wharfs and the fisher monger with his freah catches of the day from GSL. At Sundog we had an excellent snack and ice creme. Recommend the fried focaccia bread. I didn’t quite get the Old Town cool vibe mentioned by others. It was quiet. Few businesses seemed to be open even though it was mi-day during the week. I was kind-of of expecting multiple arts and souvenir shops. We entered the NWT Brewery restaurant around 3 pm. We were seated. Then ignored by staff for some strange reason. We made eye contact several times with the staff. After about 15 mins of we left. Weird. We are going to go back another evening for dinner as we hear good things about the food. Will give them another chance and rate the business directly. I did have a NWT Brewery beer served at Sundogs. It was the Amberrrr Ale and was very good. Overall we enjoyed the old town walk, the sights and lookout- at Pilot memorial. I ranked Old Town as average, as there wasn’t much to really see or do there.
