Superb forest experience—totally different than a day trip or time on the main rivers.

点评：Excellent lodge and experience of the Amazon. Spent three nights including camping in the forest with guides Luis and Luciano. The forest experience itself was the star of the show, though the lodge itself is quite nice. Meals were good and there was a nice mix of activities and downtime, time on boats and on foot. This was early in the wet season, so weather was variable, but an excellent condition to see the forest.
I strongly recommend spending multiple days here—the logistics of getting to and from the lodge take some time, so I would advise a minimum of two nights, and I thought three was perfect. The forest transforms at night, and experiencing the daytime and nighttime gives you a much better sense of the ecosystem.
This place teems with life, and I saw amazing birds, cayman, snakes, plants, and insects. This is their forest, and you should mentally prepare yourself for that, and you will find this a fascinating and magical place that is also a little terrifying (manageable, but true).
I felt very safe and organized by our guides, who adapted to conditions and were fabulous at spotting and explaining elements of the forest and its creatures. 10/10, no notes
