More Rocks 🪨 and 🦕 Dinosaurs But Worth the Stop.

点评：Visited September 8, 2025: Prairie Outpost Park was open as it is a park but none of the Machinery Hill displays/buildings were open .
The rock displays were very well done with concise info that would intrigue even the most avid rock hound. The dinosaur museum material was very well presented with brief but detailed explanations that even an early reader would understand. The egg display was very informative.There was a window open to the “dinosaur “ lab where the paleontologists could be seen working. Well worth the visit even for the non-dinosaur-non-fossil fan.
The Joachim Regional Museum was just that, an excellent source of history about the area.
$10 admission for 2 seniors was well worth supporting the building , work and efforts. There is a small gift shop and restrooms are available.
Enjoyed the visit and would be enjoyed by all ages as there is a hands on area for children.
