Marvelous museum with outstanding staff. Bravo!

点评：We loved our stay in the Currier. An outstanding staff, very helpful and happy to ask questions, greeted us and helped us on our way. The collection is quite varied, with good representation from the Renaissance to contemporary art. Excellent group of 19th century American. A lot of highlights here:
Anni and Josef Albers, Richard Anuszkewicz, Basquiat, Brueghel, Chihuly, Thomas Cole, Lorenzo Costa, Arthur Dove, Robert Duncanson, Richard Estes, Sam Gilliam, Philip Guston, Adolph Gottlieb, Marsden Hartley, Childe Hassam, Robert Henri, Kathe Kollwitz, Sol LeWitt, Judith Leyster, Claude Monet, Louise Nevelson, Maxfield Parrish, Pablo Picasso, Frederick Remington, George Rouault, John Singer Sargent, Charles Sheeler, Frank Stella, Elihu Veder, William Zorach. When we were there, we loved the exhibit of glass sculpture by Dan Dailey, Chihuly's first graduate student. Wonderful!
