A Lively Farmer's Market in the Heart of Sarasota, FL

点评：We drove up to Sarasota from Venice, FL; it took us about 30 minutes on U. S. 41. We found on-street parking very easily and we were quickly midst in the market at the intersection of Main Street and N Lemon Ave.
Our starting point for shopping was next to Worden's very impressive 100% USDA certified organic market. We were soon surrounded by vendors including local artisans, businesses and more local produce and florists.
We meandered through the streets, making a number of stops along the way. The watermelon compelled us to make a quick stop at the car, then we were back on our discovery trip. The baked goods proved to be absolutely mouthwatering, most notably the funnel cakes made in front of us, the open-faced croissants filled with veggies and goat cheese that were reminiscent of the flavors found in The South of France and giant handmade German pretzels.
The Sarasota Farmer's Market is a busy but safe environment where you can enjoy live music and fair prices. We were especially impressed by the fruit and vegetable stand displays.
Every Saturday, rain or shine, all year round is advertised - this market is the perfect spot for locals as well as visitors to spend a relaxing, fun Saturday morning.
