点评：ISKCON temple Vrindavan, also called the Sri Krishna Balaram Mandir, is a famous temple in Vrindavan's Raman Reti area. The temple was grand opened during the significant festival of Ram Navami on 20th April, 1975. This temple was a dream come true for Srila Prabhupada, who founded ISKCON in July 1966. he wanted to build a temple for worshipping lord Krishna and Balaram in the same Village where they played and performed their pastimes thousands of years ago.
Architecture of the temple:
Constructed from white marble, the ISKCON temple stands as one of the remarkable edifices in Vrindavan. As you enter ISKCON Vrindavan, the first thing you will see is the grand white marble archway of Srila Prabhupada's samadhi, which is a memorial honoring him. following his passing in 1977, his body was interred here. The samadhi has winding stairways shaped like peacocks and is decorated with intricate carvings and large, beautiful domes. When you walk through the big wooden temple doors.
The temple has three altars. In the center is the deity of Krishna and Balaram, on right hand are Radha - Krishna with gopis vishakha and Lalita, on left hand side are the deities of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu with Bhaktivedanta Swami prabhupada and Nityananda.
