点评：You would never guess that a museum of this caliber would be located in a small town in the middle of Kansas, but maybe since the Kansas State Fair is held here that has something to do with it. That, and a family with money, according to the gift shoppe clerk.
Only about $20 to get in for ‘seniors’ it is an affordable thing to do, especially if you are staying in Wichita, about 45 minutes away, as we were.
The museum houses an impressive amount of real rocket and space artifacts. The placards are done well to explain the chronology of rocket evolution.
There were enough exhibits to achieve ‘museum fatigue’.
There were a couple of groups of students with tour guides, that would be the way to get the most out of your experience.
The museum staff was friendly, and they have an impressive gift shoppe.
