Ants, Hard Cheese, and State Park Police

点评：I had absolutely no complaints the first day/night we stayed at the resort, but by the second day all hell broke loose and it seemed like the universe was out to get me. My family and I woke up to and walked out to the car to go grab breakfast when we are treated to a surprise ant infestation inside my car. (No food was left out, clean car, and all the windows were up.) I go to tell the front desk and she says,” yeah another worker here had that problem the other day” and then hands me a can of raid (yes that was nice but still not how I wanted to start my morning. I’m livid at this point do to the ants and the lovely Arkansas humidity, and then I get no further than the resort entrance when I get stopped by a park cop. I apparently ran multiple stop signs and I was speeding… I literally went back and there was only ONE stop sign and my family saw me stop at the ONE sign. I was also somehow speeding down the windy 30mph road and not being a good driver. There’s no way I was speeding nor did I run “multiple” stop signs. This all happened before 10 AM. We get back to the resort around 3:45pm and my daughter goes to grab a drink from the fridge and tells me how there’s a piece of cheese by the fridge… excuse me what??? I go and look and sure enough there is a slice of Colby Jack cheese. I go grab a plastic sack we had to grab and dispose of it. That cheese was harder than a frozen pile in January.
When it rains it poops and I know this is all very woah is me poor pitiful first world problems, but to be told that the ant problems are to be expected due to the heat and all other issues would be sent to management was just kinda frustrating to hear. I know it’s hard to find good staff or people to work in general but like can we not just do a double look through to make sure there’s no rotting food or body parts just laying around willy nilly??!?

下雨的时候会下雨，我知道这些都是非常可怜的第一世界问题，但当被告知由于天气炎热，蚂蚁问题在所难免，而所有其他问题都将提交给管理层时，我听到这些话有点沮丧。我知道很难找到好的员工或一般的同事，但我们能不能再仔细检查一下，确保没有腐烂的食物或尸体部位随处乱放？！？
