点评：First time in the park for a few years and what a difference.
Lovely summer day and the place was very busy but parking in the official car park was easy as most cars were dotted around the park.
Plenty of space to walk with very well tended grassed areas and loads of play areas & opportunities for kids to let off steam.
Walked through the conservation area which I hope will have a see few more 'information stations' appearing as the only one we saw was a bit difficult to read thanks to age, layout and info overload.
Stopped off at the cafe which didn't really impress not because of the availability, variety or quality of its offerings but there seemed to be plenty of staff (4) but little movement of customers through the process.
No real queuing, just a milling around with the loudest, most pushy (usually last in) being served first. Some form of queue control would be useful.
Overall, I really must visit a lot more often.
