Expensive to get in and cafe is poor

点评：We decided to go for a walk round here with the dog. They charged £5 to take the car in which is extortionate if you only want to go for an hours walk. The park itself is well maintained and a nice walk around the lakes. Plenty of bins and a couple of good play areas for the kids.
We made an impromptu stop at the cafe which was so disappointing. Coffee was ok but I had a sausage and bacon sandwich - 2 rashers of bacon and one cheap sausage. Given the price of £5.95 I would have expected more filling - 2 rashers and one sausage (which was of poor quality so inexpensive for a caterer to buy) I would have liked the filling to have at least filled the bread. My wife had a toastie which was ok.
I think if you have a young family and take your own food then this may be an ideal place to spend a few hours but as a casual drop in for a short walk I’m not convinced.
