Small car park, nice beach
Humberston Fitties Beach的点评
点评：I know our first visit to Humberston Fitties. We had decided to go paddle boarding with two of our children.
Fortunately, we went fairly early and managed to get a place in the extremely small car park next to the beach near to the Haven holiday site. It is then a short walk through to the beach with the puddle boards which was not owners. There are no facilities on the beach.
The tide times and weather conditions were perfect for paddle boarding and we took two paddle boards out to the old fort in the Humber. We have a quick look around the fort and then paddle back to the beach. The tide on the way back was a bit stronger than on the way there so I did take a bit of effort. As with all paddle boarding, you really do need to keep your eye on the weather, the tides et cetera to ensure you’re safe. Due to the title nature of the jury, the water can go out a very long way leaving huge expenses of mud flats between the beach and the water so timing is everything. The sandy beach itself is very pleasant and would make for a nice beach day. There is a path and cycle track that goes all the way into Cleethorpes and we walked along this into the town for some lunch after we finish paddling.
I thought a nice day but with very limited car parking you need to be fortunate to secure a good spot.
