点评：OK so from the outset I’d like to state that my review is purely based on the accommodation and breakfast as opposed to the grounds and a fantastic 60th birthday bash. We decided , I’m guessing like most to stay on site purely out of convenience. The grounds are stunning however the rooms and castle itself less so. They are tired looking, basic and far from 4 stars, I’d give it 3 at most. Add to that a couple of earwigs in my bed maybe less. The room was very small, furniture was dated and poor. Bath towels frayed, shower less than a drizzle and door wouldn’t shut either. Bed felt uncomfortable and a little old tbh. For around £200 a night not cheap at all and should be far better. The breakfast offering is ridiculous, with it being served in basically what felt like a dungeon. Not enough room to swing a cat and whilst they try and schedule your breakfast time it just doesn’t work and why they are not using other rooms is beyond me. Food was also bang average
