点评：Normally the leas cliff is a safe bet for at least a middle of the road experience, Wizard of Oz was appalling.
Safety - child performers is aisles poorly balanced on scooters without adequate staff levels for safety of audience and performers.
Lights poorly aligned so children in back of staffs squealing with discomforf every time they span lights at audience
Costume - items unironed with fold marks from packaging (ozs waistcoat), dance team dressed in shein/temu offerings without tailoring to fit, and half sequinned costumes. Danes dresses poor, unimaginative and low quality, wicked witch headress collapsing and falling apart.
Sound - performers muffled and scripts could not be made out most the time, singing was mumbled, drowned out by poorly edited pre recorded music. No stand out solos/duets.
Script - lacking in plot, for a wellknown show it was lacklustre and dull, a couple of poor political jokes thrown in for the adults but badly done, no real funny gags for the kids, no thought into making the show relevant to the local area or accessible to audience.
Overall a cheap, shoddy, lazy attempt that the team should be ashamed of. Local theatre doesnt need to be poor quality and many local am dram groups provided a better quality of show. Very disappointing.
