点评:was given a tasting and tour by one of the docents and was later joined by the master distiller/blender. I enjoyed speaking w/ both but remember standing in a big empty, listening to them tell me how "this is going here and we plan to do that there....", and thinking "yeah, okay, right!" I did admire their enthusiasm and optimism (&, to be fair, was somewhat caught up in it). I returned in October of 2024 to check on their progress but, unfortunately, the only day I could make it was a day they were closed. I did notice lots of changes to the exterior so my interest was piqued. Now imagine my surprise when we returned in May to find the place not just fully operational but bustling w/ activity and actually making bourbon! And I had the same docent as on my first visit! He could not help but give the "I told you so...." speech to me and I dutifully listened and responded in amazement. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour (I was just stunned and amazed at the transformation fr/ empty space to a working distillery in less than two years' time) and the tasting of their product and cannot wait to return in a year or so to see how much further they have progressed.
