Disappointed.. it didn't live up to the menu's promise.

点评：Called in for a late lunch, inspired by the interesting menu.
We shared 3 small plates.. all fish, and each had a side order of luke warm allegedly roasted squash, clearly no oil or seasonings used. This was supposed to come with burnt onions. It didn't.!
The fish dishes were varied.
2 small cod croquet.. not sure they had much cod in them, rather bland and disappointing.
Lovely fresh makeral with gooseberries ( a few more wouldn't have gone amiss)
An excellent trout pate. ( and a large portion !)
The waitress was keen to inform us bread was not included. Actually the pate considerably improved the under roasted, tasteless squash.
A very mixed meal....shame as the menu had been so interesting
The ( cold) drinks all seemed expensive
I also don't like service charges being automatically added. Surely not needed if decent wages are paid.

服务员很热情地告诉我们，套餐里不含面包。实际上，这道酱大大提升了烤得不够香的南瓜的口感。
一顿饭菜种类繁多……真可惜，因为菜单本来就很有趣。

我也不喜欢自动加收服务费。如果工资合理，肯定不需要。
