点评：The church is very centrally located so we had just a short walk from our punting trip down the River Cam to the 'Bells of St. Clements' experience. It was certainly worth the £8 charge and was informative as well as having opporunities to ' have a go' with a couple of different bells. Fortunately, our guide told us that the local population are not subjected to amateurs creating a cacophony of sound, since the six bells currently in use are snaffled and their sound is recorded and plays through a computer programme. However, the oldest bell really does work and we were invited to ring it. Hearing it's chime was a unique experience, knowing that it has been part of the locals lives for many centuries. There were opportunities to ask lots of questions and it was facinating to find out how many permutations of different peels are possible. We can't recommend this experience too highly. Definitely five 🌟 stars.
