National Botanic Garden of Wales的点评
点评：Expensive - £19 each plus 20p for a pretty useless map. An underwhelming beginning with a large area on the left unmown, with no information as to why or what was growing there. Fresh flowers in toilets a nice touch.
Cafe choice very poor, with only a sausage roll as hot food available at 11am. Sandwich choice very uninspiring. GF brownie and coffee good.
Walled garden nice, although even here there were weeds and areas looking uncared for.
Glasshouse looks very sorry for itself, with the large pond and running water wall empty and out of action. No obvious maintenance taking place, and reading other reviews it looks as if it’s been like this for some time.
We were surprised not to see more people working in the gardens. One member of staff was picking flowers to make up bunches for sale at £3 each, but would have been better employed weeding and clearing away dead plants.
We enjoyed the ancient stones area, which seemed well maintained and labelled.
Embroidery exhibition by Stitchers Botanica was excellent and a highlight of our visit. We found it by accident.
Shop well stocked and plenty of Welsh products to buy.
