Wonderful educative experience at the Brontë Birthplace

点评：I booked to visit the Brontë Birthplace in advance via the official website, very easy to do.
A visit to the Brontë Birthplace in Thornton is a must! The house has been lovingly restored to how it would have appeared in 1815 when Mr and Mrs Brontë first arrived there. I originally booked for a self guided tour however I upgraded to a guided tour. Joanne, my tour guide took me on a historical journey of the Brontë family and their life in Thornton. It was a fabulous experience! I highly recommend. You can also stay for coffee and cake and good conversation with the Brontë Birthplace guides afterwards.
There is also available, 3 rooms to stay in as an air B&B. The rooms are called Charlotte, Emily and Anne. The rooms are beautiful with en suite facilities and a Brontë fan would be faced with a difficult decision as to which room to book.
Everyone associates the Brontë’s with Haworth but it’s time to put Thornton, near Bradford on the map and discover more about the Brontë family’s early years.
